FynalÆ cement is a polymer-reinforced zinc oxide-eugenol composition. FynalÆ cement is used as a non-irritating final cement for finished crowns, bridges, and inlays. Due to possible shade alteration it should not be used against plastic and ceramic full crowns which do not have metal cores. It mixes easily to a non-runny consistency that flows only under pressure. FynalÆ cement provides ample work time but sets promptly. Excess cement is easily removed from tooth and appliance. The excellent physical properties resulting from the unique polymer reinforcing agents include: high compressive and tensile strengths; low film thickness; and low solubility. To obtain optimum physical properties, the recommended powder/liquid ratio should be used.

ZOE B&T cement is zinc oxide-eugenol base with polymer reinforcement used for bases and temporary restorations. It provides a hard sedative base under all types of posterior restoratives except resins. As a temporary restorative it has clinical durability of up to one year. ZOE B&T cement demonstrates high compressive strength; excellent abrasion resistance; low solubility; and good sealing properties. Mixes to a putty consistency in approximately one minute. It is easily inserted and carved without being sticky. ZOE B&T cement provides ample placement time but sets promptly in the mouth (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 minutes).
